FInES recently participated in the job and opportunity fair event in order to share information on how youth entrepreneurs can access the FInES loans through various participating financial institutions  https://www.finesproject.mw/partners.

The event was organised by mHUb in collaboration with GIZ EYA! ATVET with the aim to provide  opportunities to job seekers and entrepreneurs. The youth also had the opportunity to interact with business incubators ,employers and financial institutions.

Malawi Agriculture and Industrial Investiment Corporation,Standard Bank and Centenary Bank are some of the financial  institutions that participated in the market fair. The event attracted over 1300 youths from Lilongwe city. It is hoped that the event will contribute towards job creation and increased business opportunities for youth.

One of the youth who attended the event, Emily Banda, the director and owner Emerald Vision, has been trained by SMEDI in value addition. She sells tomato puree, tomato paste and pepper mix. Her dream is to own a processing factory and sell beyond Malawi.
